  • The Runch Bunch Origin

    The Runch Bunch was created to foster a new approach to bridging the gap caused by stereotypes and misunderstandings between the general population and those with physical disabilities and challenges. Currently, the approach utilized in addressing the different needs community focuses on the malady, i.e. down syndrome, Autism, Leukemia, etc, rather than on the individual affected. this approach fails to recognize the emotional and physical impact on the children with different needs, not the social discomfort for the general population caused by a lack of knowledge and empathy. By shifting the focus to the individual, it is possible to create a culture of understanding, recognition, and inclusion that has long been missing in society.
    The Runch Bunch stories are fictional, but the reality of the situation and characters portrayed will resonate with audiences of all ages. They are modern day fables that provide parents of all children with the opportunity to teach life lessons. The children by giving them characters with whom to relate. Having heroes will provide the readers with their own sense of the same
